Basuki to Discuss Reclamation with Ministries

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama is going to open coordination meeting along with several ministries to discuss reclamation project towards 17 islands at Jakarta Bay. As planned, the meeting will be held at the office of Maritime Coordinator Ministry, Jalan MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta.

According to him, such meeting will be held at around 4 PM after recommendation from Commission IV DPR to stop reclamation temporarily.

"He taught me, if the bay is contaminated, the way is through reclamation to absorb toxins," he disclosed.
